L'assemblée générale annuelle de l'Association Régionale de Ringuette de Montréal
18 May, 2014

L'assemblée générale annuelle de l'Association Régionale de Ringuette de Montréal ( ARRM ) will take place on Wednesday, May 28th, at 19h00, at 8110, St-Michel ( corner Jarry ), Montréal. Meeting time has been scanned so that it doesn't compete with one of the Habs hockey games in Round 3 of the NHL playoffs.

ARRM is the body that acts as an intermediate between the City of Montréal and the local associations such as NDG Ringuette and MER, and it is through its existence that the locals enjoy such conditions as free ice for games and low practice rates. Without it, we couldn't have access to the arenas to play our sport.

This is the reason why we'll need at least 1 to 2 persons per team to show up at the assembly, which will be closely monitored by the City. The main reason is that we're competing with the other ice sports - hockey, speed skating, figure skating - foe every hour of ice allocated to ringuette, and every sport has to show it's healthy and deserving of the ice allocated.

JR-B Provincial Champions!
30 Mar, 2014

Our Junior B team brought home Gold from the Quebec Provincials! It was an amazing effort and a very exciting event. In coach Vito's words: "It was nice to see the girls come together. They were a unit on and off the ice. Very special."

Attention NEW players!!
08 Sept, 2013

Come and give ringette a try. We are now recruiting new players! If your daughter was born in 2006, she is of Mosquito (beginner) age. If she was born in 2007 or 2008 and is learning to skate, she may still be eligible to join the Mosquito group.

Our first on-ice session will be Saturday September 14, 4PM, at Bill Durnan Arena. Come for 3:30PM to meet everyone and get ready. Parents who can skate are encouraged to join us on the ice (skates and helmet mandatory - gloves are recommended).

The following equipment is mandatory for girls to be permitted on the ice:

(the ringette grill is different -- it is NOT available at Canadian Tire!)
(hockey grills will be allowed for the first session, so you can borrow one as you try the sport)
